  1. None of the above. When it *first* went critical, it ran at 0.5 watts output. That is not enough for a laptop, too much for a mobile phone charger and not even close to a clothes dryer run.

    1. That’s right. Chicago Pile 1 produced about enough power to light up the standby light on your television. Not the whole television on standby, just the light saying it’s on standby.
