I that match Thomas white came to bat with a blade which was as big as the wicket itself,which erupted a controversy and ultimately, the rule of max width of the bat was introduced..
That’s exactly what he did. It wasn’t technically cheating as it was perfectly within the laws, but it is certainly not, as they say… cricket.
