The oldest person to walk on the moon was Alan Shepard at age 47.
The youngest person to walk on the moon was 36 year old Charlie Duke (pictured above.)
If you’re over 36, the ship has sailed on you becoming the youngest person to walk on the moon. But however old you are, you can still (theoretically) become the oldest.
