Interesting Question of the Day – 23 July 2018

We came across a list of largest economies per unit of land area.  That’s the highest GDP (Purchasing Power Parity) per square kilometre of land area, and were not counting countries smaller than 30,000 sqkm, or about half the size of Tasmania.  (So Monaco at $3 billion per square kilometre is out.)

Name three of the five countries with the highest GDP per square kilometre.

The first new player to comment on the website with the correct answer wins a free drink at their next iQ Trivia show.

  1. I’m guessing Japan would be up there, along with Germany, the UK and maybe the Netherlands and Switzerland.

      1. Once again I didn’t read the question close enough, eh?

I’d go for Japan, Germany and the UK, but I am not hugely confident about the UK over the Netherlands.

        1. Japan is. The UK is. The Netherlands is also.

Germany is not. Both Germany & Switzerland just miss out. (In fact if you phrased the question slightly differently, you could probably have gotten them included too.)
