  1. A friend of mine (an old Serbian) told me about this person.
    Miliunka Savic was a chick. Possibly the most decorated female in the history of warfare.

    1. Her identity was discovered when she was wounded in battle, they were going to transfer her to the nursing corps, but she refused any role that didn’t involve combat. She then stood at attention until they gave in.

      She survived the war and also survived WWII despite being put in a concentration camp for being disrespectful to the Nazis.

      All in all, pretty impressive.
